Lil grandson…

I felt so touched yet at the same time empathise with this lil grandson , lele. He was the one and only love of the grandparents till one day , his 2 lil cousins came along…Lesser attention.. and perhaps thought his grandparents no longer love him. From young , his grandparents took care of him till he’s 7 and required to attend a primary sch thus shifting back to his own house . Thats why he was so attached to them. Still i believe,he misses his granny and granddad to lead him to do a ultimate dangerous stunt. He left his own house from woodlands and cycle all the way to yishun. Jus to see his grandparents. Can you imagine a 7 years old kid cycling so far just to see his grandparents? I dun think anyone reading this will actually do that do see ur grandparents. The grand dad felt so heart pain that he cried. Lil grandson could have gotten into an accident just to see em.

I was totally shocked by this.

So i told him , next time if you miss your ah gong and ah ma. tell me.. i will fetch you there. Dun cycle on your own.

People.. if a 7 years old know how to love and cherish his love ones , dont you think we should see him as a role model?

5 Holidays so far.. and the last one this month

Am really glad to say ive enjoyed myself for every single trip i’ve made.

ive learnt to appreciate finer things in life.. my relationship, my family , my friends..

An addition of 3 more family members which i thought was a real disturbance turned out to be something i never thought i look forward to seeing each and every morning… especially my lil princess.. no matter how tired i am , it seems like a natural instinct to get out of my bed and spend a lil time with her. My sis in law, which i thought was pretty stucked up turn out to be quite a nice person after getting along with her.Most importantly, her contribution to the headcount in the family. Bonding , adaptions and adjustments is needed to live in harmony. Its good to have someone to talk to , to gossip with , to appreciate my cooking, to whine and complain , and a lot of many issues that we faced. Darius is too young and constantly crying for his milk supply , but crying has become music to my ears. Its soothing and doesnt irritate me like how it does in the past, simply because i look forward to seeing them grow up healthy and happy.

It was a simple affair with a handful of friends and relatives.

Carina is now 13 months + … she is finally learning how to walk !

Am waiting for the day she call me gu gu ♥

Wondering if anyone still reads my blog?! It has been a really long while since i update this lil diary of mine, too lazy i guess.

lotsa pictures but decided not to upload any for this post.

As usual , working and still working.

Bought my new blackberry bold and its awesome! signed up for the unlimited blackberry dataplan.

supposed to fly off to bkk this mth but due to some unforseen circumstances, i wont be joining my friends.

sadly , poo is taking over me to have some fun over in bkk.

On a lighter note.. I am heading to taipei next mth!

so excited about it. have already check out the various must go places!

Am nursing a very very bad cough.. cant get to bed. sighs

August thoughts

Time seems to pass especially fast in 2009.

Looking back , i have yet to accomplished anything in life.

Defered my studies , probably changing course.

On a serious note, i dont think i am a dumb person that lacks intelligence but i am way too lazy.

i did unisim for 1 sem , getting quite well when i decided that i am too lazy to go to school.

Too lazy to put in effort to achieve what i want.

I still think its not too late to aim for my degree. Better late than never .

Friends are ever so encouraging. Thanks god for them.

Speaking about friends, havent seen sally dear since last saturday.

It has been a week, and i kinda miss her.

Miss her whinings and teasing.

Next week gonna be a busy week for me , the week after too.

After which , i will be in perth for a week.

An unplanned trip, probably plan my itinerary when i am there.

Next month,

gonna be my 1 ) precious niece 1st birthday .

wondering what i should sponsor her for her party.

2) My bro 25th birthday

3) my newphew is coming into the world.

An eventful month with lotsa joy and happiness.

We are finally shifting out of out home nest of 23 years to a slightly bigger unit nearby.

Yay! 5 bedrooms! uber happy since everyone will have their own bedrooms.

Drop by the home interior fair to place a deposit for the parador laminates.

We managed to get a good deal for these germany laminates that comes with a pro air system .

Looking forward to our New Nest.

Am back from Bali.. weather was awesome.

cause it wasnt exactly that hot. probably a lil cloudy.

lotsa fun , and will go back bali for a second time next year if time permits.

This time round , i tried rafting , after which we head to the top of the mountain to look at volcano.

The scenery was breath-taking.

Bali seems like the land of smiles, and everyone is so friendly and helpful.

er… perhaps not all.

Anyway, the main highlight of the trip is that we got conned by the money changer.

This serves as a warning to whoever that is heading to bali next.

For ur info, if you change indo rupees in sg. Sgd $1= IRP $6800

On the second day , we thought we struck gold when we saw that the exchange rate was $1 = $7390

This is a lot of difference and we didnt hesitate to change our money.

Usually , all this unlicensed money changer will have 2 guys in the shop to distract ur attention.

They will usually ask you , which hotel you are staying at? where are you from ? etc..

secondly , they will give you currencies in $50 000 instead of $100 000.

so that the amount of money will look very thick hence you will be able to tell the differences.

Example. If you change SGD 500 =369 5000

They will give you 370 0000 and ask you to give them change of 5000.

while youre digging the change and with the other guy distracting ur friends.

The money changer will actually drop the notes into the drawer w/o you knowing.

In the end , we got cheated 1 million rupees

Whats worst is that we thought we dropped them while shopping.

Later on in the night , we went to a different moneychanger offering the same rate

But this time rd , we were careful not to be distracted

and knowing that we already seen through their tricks.

they want to charge a 10% commission.

What rubbish!

so guys, remember to change at the authorised money changers yup!

shall go charge my camera before i upload the pictures yeah.

Her bdae on the 18th and shes going to JAPAN!

Mine is on the 19th and going taiwan
